Story

Save the UK's CharitiesGeneral fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Thousands of fundraising events have been cancelled and many charities, particularly smaller ones, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society from children to the elderly as well as the vital work in areas such as palliative care, serious diseases, mental health, housing support, food supplies and countless others that charities support.

The Oxygen Works have to raise £250,000 every year to provide support to the centre’s users.  As many of you know, I have been attending the centre for oxygen treatment for a few years now and want to support them during theses tough times.

My physios managed to get me walking a few steps with my crutches after my MS relapse last year but my mobility has taken another setback in the last month due to not being able to go for my physio sessions. I have decided, therefore, to try to kickstart my walking again by walking 26 steps every day. At the moment I am lucky to be able to do 6 steps.

If you can donate to my cause it would be much appreciated. Every little helps.
