Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Staff from East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service will attempt to cycle 240 miles in 24 hours in aid of Comic Relief.

The Sussex Control Centre opened on 21st May 2014 and is responsible for taking 999 Fire calls for the whole of Sussex.

The Sussex Control Centre is based in Haywards Heath, West Sussex and the control room staff, joined by officers from both East and West Sussex Fire Services will cycle a hypothetical route south to Brighton and around the whole Sussex border as far west as Emsworth and as far East as Rye before returning back to Brighton, finally heading north homeward towards the Sussex Control Centre.

The event starts at 8am and will be held in an office adjoining the control room on a static bike with progress being tracked to reach the goal of 240 miles in 24 hours.
