We help people with a learning disability to live their lives as they choose.

Story

The trainers have been dusted off as the Strettons' runners get in shape to participate in the Mencap Run Hyde Park on 15th June 2019.

Our seven-strong team will be putting their best foot forward to run either 5km or 10km, raising money to support Mencap and with every step each runner takes, helping the charity to achieve its vision of a world where people with learning disabilities are valued equally, listened to and included.

Our runners will be playing their small part in helping Mencap raise the money needed to tackle the issues faced by people with a learning disability and to enable the charity to deliver high-quality services to improve their quality of life.

Making a move to help people with a learning disability this summer will be:

  • Richard Allen
  • Britt Clark
  • Charlie Hale
  • Chrissie Hale
  • Sam Harborne
  • Suzanna Lewis
  • Lizzie Macnamara

Our enthusiastic team are looking forward to their run around one of London's most scenic parks. They'll be setting off from the Hyde Park Bandstand at 10.30 and welcome all supporters to cheer them on.
