Story
Steve -I first got to know the NAS in 2016 when I secured a marathon space through the charity and set about trying to understand more about what they did and how they are changing people’s lives for the better.
Since that initial involvement, I have continued to be amazed by the charity and the steps they are taking to raise awareness, innovate and integrate autistic people into the work place. The money raised will go a long way in providing new and different opportunities for people with autism, while also improving the number of autistic people in full time employment which frankly is too few.
Andy - This is my first marathon and without doubt the biggest physical challenge I have ever taken on. To be ready for the big day I'm getting the miles in - in all weathers - but running for the National Autistic Society is a great motivator. Autism is something that is close to both my and my families heart. Any donation, large or small, will genuinely help me get round that 26.2 miles so please dig deep. Your support means a lot.
Rich - Running the 2018 London Marathon for the National Autistic Society is one of the best things I've ever done, so when I got the opportunity to do it again, I jumped at the chance. I just hope its not 24 degrees this time around!
