Story

Dear Friends

During usual times, Solving Kids’ Cancer supports children with the aggressive childhood cancer Neuroblastoma; offering a 24-hour family support service, and fund innovative clinical trial research to find kinder and more effective treatment for children battling this unrelenting disease here  in the UK.

Bu these are not usual times and Solving Kids’ Cancer has responded to the pandemic, in partnership with J-A-C-K.org, to launch an Emergency Fund to help families who are facing additional financial strain due to the pandemic. Children with Neuroblastoma who are currently. or recently  undergone front-line treatment have extremely vulnerable immune systems and as a result, parents are unable to work or even leave their homes.

Our grant awards are immediate and aim to alleviate acute financial distress.

In support of this  Nick, Lucy and Bron over the weekend of 1/2/3 May will walk/ run 26.2 Miles, (observing government exercising guidelines)  and want to raise £4500. This will support 6 families for 3 months of lockdown. AMAZING!

It's a time when if we can we need to help those who are the hardest hit as much, and for as long, as we are able. and we would appreciate your support in making this happen.

Thank you xx
