Four friends...  One of whom set himself the challenge of completing the London marathon last year and did so in a fantastic time, raising a phenomenal amount of money and inspiring us all...  Somehow, after a conversation (wine may have been involved), we all ended up in the London ballot for this year.  Ballot unsuccessful but gives automatic entry to Edinburgh instead...  Another conversation (more wine involved!) and we're all entered and heading for a long weekend in Scotland at the end of May!!

Our running abilities are mixed but we've all taken to the streets to pound our way through the gruelling training plans that will get us to 26.2 miles on 28th May.  Whilst this is more a personal challenge for us, we did want to try and raise a bit of cash for a worthwhile cause to make the aching limbs and blisters worth it!  We have chosen Thomas' fund to support as it is a local charity, founded and based in Northamptonshire, with a personal link to one of our team - plus, it's all about music, something close to all our hearts.  We would be very grateful for all donations to this wonderful cause - thank you so much.
