Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page. The Sandstone Trail is a 34 mile walk through rural Cheshire normally enjoyed over 3 days. On the 15th June 2018 we, a team of colleagues from the A6 to Manchester Airport Relief Road project, will aim to complete the full length of the trail in one day to raise money for Ollie's Army (olliesarmy.co.uk)  to support two children from Poynton with Battens Disease. Battens Disease is a rare, life limiting condition which will take away 7 year old Ollie's and his 5 year old sister Amelia's ability to walk, talk, swallow and eye sight as well as filling their lives with uncontrollable seizures.

Walking the Sandstone Trail is an enormous challenge, but sore feet and a few blisters are nothing compared to the challenges Ollie, Amelia and their family have to face.

Please quote "Ollie" in the message when you donate.
