The Clock Tower Sanctuary

We support young people to break away from homelessness

Charity Registration No. 1146777

Story

Team Canary are participating in Jailbreak: a challenge where they must get as far away from Sussex University as possible within 36 hours. Our team is called Canary, the same name which Amelia Earhart gave to her plane. She was the first women to fly solo over the atlantic, and her expedition inspired us to challenge ourselves. Lucy, Jordan and Will must not use any money of their own to travel, and will have to rely on their wit and skills to manoeuvre their way across the globe. They will be doing this in aid of The Clock Tower Sanctuary, who provide information, advice and guidance young homeless people in Brighton and Hove. Any donations would be greatly appreciated, regardless of the amount. Remember; all the money raised will be going to the charity, not towards the trip!

The Clock Tower Sanctuary is the only drop-in service providing all-round information, advice and support to homeless young people (aged 16-25) in Brighton & Hove. The charity works with homeless young people to help prevent further decline, unlock their potential and get their lives back on track.£10 can pay for a young person to have a shower, wash their clothes, have a hot meal and talk to our specially trained volunteers. Thank you for helping homeless young people in Brighton & Hove have a chance for a brighter future.
