I guess your wondering what the event consists of, so here goes.
Were testing our selves with a physical and mental three-day competition on which we will run, hike, bike, and Kayak over 100 miles across Somerset and Devon. Were racing against other teams and the clock. An example of the things we have in store!! Day One - Running and hill trekking 27-miles through woodland, farmland and up across Exmore. With tasks and challenges on route. Day Two - Just when we thought the trekking and running was over we have a further 10-miles to do, followed by 9-Miles kayaking and 29-mile bike ride. Day Three - 26-miles bike ride with challenges and mystery surprises on route! Followed by a swim in the sea! We are navigating our self by compass. Which should be a challenge in it self! You may now be thinking were all completely nuts. But we are all doing this event for a great cause, The Princes Trust. The COA Team was a late entry to join the event and were all in mad training sessions to get fit and get prepared. Were giving up early morning, late evening and weekends in preparation for September! All we ask from our friends and colleagues of COA is to sponsor the COA team and donate as much money as possible to help a young person turn their life around. Previous years we have had separate sponsorship pages. This year we have decided to have one sponsor page for the whole team, so please give generously for your COA Team. Please sponsor the COA team now and show us your support. Kind regardsSuzi, Mandeep, Emma, Jerry, Kevin, Simon.
