Story

Chestnut is such a unique and special place that looks after poorly Children and their families when they need it most. The staff there are so loving and supportive and the facilities are comfortable.

Imagine a country house in a beautiful setting with a winding path adapted for wheelchair access around the mature garden which stimulates every sense, a hydro pool for therapy sessions and fun! Each room is equipped to make having a bath or going to the loo dignified and comfortable.  There is a sensory room, a quiet room a craft room and a cafe that provides good food for the patients and their families.  There are private apartments for the families when they need it so that they can get on with spending time and making memories with their beloved children. A sad place it is not a haven is what it it.

This is the place that looked after Daisy before she became an Angel so we owe a huge debt of gratitude and thanks to Chestnut for that but also to help it support other children and families in need.
