Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.Fundraising is hugely important to Macmillan. Without people doing events, running marathons, climbing mountains, and donating in all the other ways that you can, Macmillan wouldn’t exist
I must be crazy and I know it's going to be hard work, but after losing both my Mum and Dad to this awful disease I wanted to give something back to Macmillan as a thank you for all the support they gave to Mum and Dad during their illness ... I just pray my Mum and Dad are with me on the day pushing me to get to the finish line! I'm doing this for them and every single person who has lost/won their fight with Cancer! - Kerry x
We all have some experience of this disease, mine is that it claimed the life of my Nan as well as several family members and friends, my fellow hiker Kerry lost both her mum and dad to this awful disease within 9 months of each other.
I'm doing this hiking marathon...all 26 miles to honour their extraordinary bravery in the face of the cruellest of illnesses and to support the vital work Macmillan do in the form of support and dignity offered to everyone fighting this monster- Pete x
So however small you can donate we will be truly grateful.
Lots of love Kerry and Pete xxxxxxxx
