💜 Team Michael is BACK for 2022! 💜

For anyone who doesn't know Michaels story, he was born in March 2014  at Wishaw General quite unwell, where it was discovered he had Congenital Heart Disease, 3 defects in total and also some issues with his urinary system.  He was referred to the then Yorkhill Children's Hospital where he was given life saving Open Heart Surgery at just 4 months old.  

Michael is now 8 and over the years has had many operations, procedures and appointments. Although he will need further intervention he is currently thriving thanks to the amazing help from the now Glasgow Children's Hospital.

The Children's Charity have helped fund some of the high spec technology used for Michael and patients like him.  He has also benefitted from Play therapy and the teddy bear Hospital which are charity funded. 

Over the years the hospital has also helped other members of our family and friends. Most people you speak to will know someone who has been at one point a patient at Glasgow Children's Hospital.

We know times are hard for everyone just now so we are grateful for any donation no matter how small as it all goes into one big pot to continue helping kids just like Michael.
