Story
The Problem
Many of Sri Lanka's poorest people do not have regular and safe access to uncontaminated running water. This gives rise to a range of health, hygiene and hydration issues, which in turn adversely effect both livelihoods and education.
The Solution
We are fundraising to build wells for families and to provide uncontaminated water supplies for schools without. Our team of over 20 members would be very grateful if you would sponsor us in taking on a 50KM Ultra Challenge Walk in one day. We want to transform the health of our beneficiaries, teach them to grow crops for their own use, and to sell, and we want to keep their children in school.
Your support would help us to provide safe access to clean, uncontaminated water for families and school children across the north, east and Upcountry of Sri Lanka.
Our Charity Partnerships
IMHO USA, Assist RR UK and Well-Being (Sri Lanka) will work in partnership to raise funds, identify those most in need, implement the building of water wells and deliver on their efficacy.
We will also partner with the Agricultural Faculty of Jaffna University to provide the beneficiaries with seed packages and training in optimising the growth of high yield crops for personal and livelihood benefits.
The HUGE Incentive
Please support us to reach our target - by selecting your currency of choice via the the link on this page, every dollar or euro you donate up to $20,000 will be very generously matched by IMHO.
