Story

This is our team SuperBlue...

Lucy Lakin, Sam Briant, Tiffany Harris, Edd Briant, Oliver Gale, Emily Gale, Charlotte O'Leary, Richard O'Leary,  Jack Benham, Sue & Pete

Please all send your donations to this page for all of us taking part.

We will be taking part in a skydive in aid of the Pilgrims Hospice on Sunday 30th April at Beccles airfield in Suffolk, which we have organised ourselves. We could really do with your help to fundraise.
Last year Katy Lakin,  Lucy's twin sister was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and after a very brave and strong fight, she sadly lost her battle in November 2016. It was her dream to marry the man of her dreams which she achieved but sadly passed over a few hours after her wedding at just 30 years old. Pilgrims hospice provided some exceptional care for her, as they do for many others.
This skydive is just a small way to raise money to help others who need similar care.
Please, if you can spare any amount big or small, it would mean the world to us.

In the UK, around 7,100 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year.

Ovarian cancer is most common in women who have been through the menopause (usually over the age of 50), although it can affect women of any age.
As the symptoms of ovarian cancer can be similar to those of other conditions, it can be difficult to recognise. However, there are early symptoms to look out for, such as persistent bloating, pain in the pelvis and lower stomach, and difficulty eating.

Pilgrims Hospice do not only help patients at end of life, but also offer support for all friends and family and complementary therapys to patients who are suffering with a life-changing illness.

Not only are we doing it for this reason, but some of us are afraid of heights.  What a way to conquer a fear!! That's got to be worth a donation or two.
