The care and support the MacMillan team offered to my family and I during my dad’s battle with cancer 9 years ago was invaluable; they offered my dad support to ensure he understood his treatment options and helped immensely when he moved to palliative care. The emotional support they offered to me, whether for phone calls, information or just as a shoulder to cry on was also very helpful, and they made the process a lot easier to bear.

Whilst I would hope that nobody ever have the need to call on their services, the unfortunate reality is that cancer is likely to touch all of our lives in some way and in that situation services from organisations like MacMillan Cancer Support really are vital, so every pound you’re able to donate really does make a difference.
