Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are raising funds for the Steve Prescott Foundation, which supports The Christie Cancer Hospital in Manchester and Rugby League's Try Assist - a fund designed to help players whose lives are affected by serious injuries.

Steve Prescott MBE was an inspirational figure. In September 2006 he was given just months to live after being diagnosed with pseudomyxoma peritonei, a rare form of cancer. He defied all odds and completed a series of gruelling challenges over the next 7 years.

As a team, we decided that the Survival of The Fittest would be a fitting way for us all to push ourselves to the limit and out of our comfort zones with a view to raising as much money as possible in honour of this incredible man.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks so much for reading and donating. We really appreciate it.
