Story
Teddy Bear Hospital's Family Funday is a fun and exciting way for children to learn about the human body, brushing their teeth, eating healthily and so much more!
There'll be stations set up with different activities, and something for all ages! We think it is so important for children to enjoy learning about health from a young age, so our activities which aid their learning are a perfect recipe for a wonderful day!
When: 22nd February 2020 (times TBC)
Where: The Great North Museum: Hancock
Cost: Nothing apart from any donations you may wish to contribute on the day/beforehand.
Food/Drink: Cake/Nibbles will be provided
It's free to come along on the 22nd February 2020 and there'll be nibbles and games as well as the fun educational stations too.
We will be fundraising for the Great North Children's Hospital Newcastle, who "offer the most extensive range of children's services outside of London, and the GNCH foundation brings together those with clinical and paediatric expertise with a focus on raising funds to support and enhance services provided within the GNCH. In doing so, they aim to raise the profile of one of the UK's leading children's medical centres and achieve things more quickly than would be possible without charitable funding."
"Charitable donations to the GNCH have enabled us to provide sensory equipment, toys, games consoles, DVD players and other entertainments and comforts which go far beyond what the NHS alone could provide."
"Children get better more quickly when they are in
an environment they enjoy."
On the day we will have a collection for the charity but also this Just Giving Page is available for those who prefer to donate online.
Hope to see you all there, please bring your teddy bears!
