Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Hi All

As most of you will know Emma ran the London marathon in 2010 and the day we went to London to get her number I decided then and there that I would be running it this year, just after my 40th Birthday!!

I have been very lucky to have been given a place by the Sue Ryder Charity.  When my Mother was very sick with Cancer she was looked after by a Hospice in Bedfordshire and the Sue Ryder charity and carers. This charity is very personal to me and my family and over the years we have donated to the hospice, but I really want to raise as much as possible by running the London Marathon and therefore would ask that you dig deep and help me do this by way of sponsorship.

I know I will do it especially as I have Emma kicking me up my arse every step of the way.

Thanks Terence.
