Story
This year I wanted to challenge myself and whilst some people might think walking 10 miles (16 kilometres) is not much of a challenge, to me it is and this is why... 6 years ago I had a routine back operation that went wrong leaving me in hospital for several weeks lying flat on my back and facing more operations. I then faced a long recovery with further surgery 14 months later, leaving me with little feeling in my left leg and foot. I love walking however after a while my foot becomes a 'dead weight' and walking becomes difficult hence why a 10 mile walk is a major challenge for me.
The work Me2 Club undertakes is important to me, the support the charity gives to children (and their families) with additional needs and disability is invaluable.
Would you also like a challenge? I am looking for a team of people to walk with me to raise money and awareness so Me2 Club can continue to provide its much needed support. If you cannot join me on the walk, please sponsor me as every penny will help Me2 Club make a difference to a child's life.
Thank you Tess x
