We Raising funds for stem cell research to save and improve people's lives

Story

Thank you for visiting our JustGiving page.

We believe that everyone deserves to hope, but it is hard to hope if you have a condition or disease for which there is no cure.

Stem cells have the potential to treat conditions such as spinal cord injury, heart attacks, strokes, blindness, cancer, diabetes, multiple sclerosis, bone and cartilage damage amongst others. The UK Stem Cell Foundation fund the research required to help the body cure itself if you, or your loved ones, are unfortunate enough to suffer from these conditions. They give us hope.

The ThamesDoggy team feel that in order to support the exceptional work of the UKSCF, something extraordinary is required. We expect it to take us a week of continuous swimming to doggypaddle the length of the Thames. Join us in our quest to support the UKSCF in helping the body overcome illness and injury.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity. So it’s the most efficient way to donate – saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
