We run a recreational club to assist adults with learning disabilities

Story

Over the weekend of 24th – 26th May, 7 family and friends,
directly associated with High Wycombe Gateway Club will take part in a 60 mile walk along the wonderful Thames Path commencing in the University City of Oxford and finishing in the picturesque market town of Marlow in Bucks.

High Wycombe Gateway Club is a weekly social club for adults
with learning disabilities. We are a registered charity affiliated with Mencap and run by a dedicated team of unpaid volunteers.

All donations received from our sponsored walk will be directly used to fund events where members can have fun, socialise and make friends.Recent events that have been organised include trips to the seaside, the London Christmas lights, Cadbury’s World and a summer overnight vacation.
