2018: Can you help us beat last years record?
On 1st September 2018 we've put together a team to walk Thanet Vikings Walk in 1 day (51km and 12 hours walking!) and raise even more money for the MS Society and other good causes.
The Thanet Vikings Walk covers 32 miles (51.8km).
We'll be starting early at the Botany Bay Hotel walking all the way to Hampton Pier Via Margate, Westgate, Birchington, Reculver and Herne Bay. Once we reach Hampton Pier (Almost 26KM away!) If we can muster up the energy we will finish our long journey by following the coast back through Herne Bay, Reculver, Birchington, Westgate and Margate, finishing the trail at our starting point... The Botany Bay Hotel to be met by friends and family and have some drinks to celebrate!
We're taking on this 50Km+ challenge in the hope that we'll be able to raise some well-deserved funds for the Multiple Sclerosis Society. If you can afford to sponsor us we would be extremely grateful.
