Big Issue North presents an eggsquisit new concept: The Invisible Easter Egg!

It’s no yolk, we’re eggstremely serious.

Our work supports people who are invisible to mainstream society. Whether they are currently homeless, facing homelessness, or are marginalised due to their immigration status, skills or health they are visible to us. We don’t turn our backs.

But it’s time to reclaim invisibility! Through a simple, kind gesture of 'purchasing' our Invisible Egg, you’re contributing to someone turning their lives round with the encouragement and supervision of office staff, who support vendors to earn an income and make the changes they want to make to improve their lives.

Please note: You are not purchasing a physical egg. However, should you chose to make a selfless suggested donation of the price of an Easter egg, you will receive a thank you email and a picture of a vendor local to your area with an Easter egg, donated by local businesses.

If you didn't already know: Vendors are working not begging.
Investing in their work, they buy each magazine for £1.25 and sell to the public for £2.50. It is notable that some people are more likely to give to people who are begging (different to rough sleeping). We have created this cracking appeal to raise the funds that overlooked Big Issue North vendors deserve.
