We’re sure your lives have been touched at some point by someone affected by Cancer.

 The Academy Angels are a group of mums whose children attend The Academy Performing Arts School.

 After successfully completing the 26.2 mile London Moonwalk in May 2016 raising over £5,500 for Breast Cancer, and then even further the next year by completing the 50km (32.93 mile) Isle of Wight Challenge on 29th April 2017. We are now taking on the Jurassic walk on the 8th June and it’s even longer this time 58km (36.09 miles)

 One of our amazing group Jeanne Kirkham has bravely fought breast cancer as has our Academy principal Claire Harvey. Sadly we all have other friends and family who are either fighting or have fought many types of cancer and so our chosen charity is: Macmillan Cancer Support who help support those affected by Cancer.

The Academy is our extended family and Claire Harvey and her team are responsible for helping to raise our kids into the confident, happy and talented adults of the future.
