Our BRIGHT idea is to conquer 252 miles / 405 km and climb 4600m, which includes reaching the summit of Leith Hill, the highest point in the southeast, 6 times. And we plan to finish all of this in 35 hours over the course of just one day! 

Our training will involve many more miles, hills and hours of endurance. All of which will finish with Sammy and Lindsey walking the Surrey Three Peaks marathon challenge on 24th June 2017 and Tanya and Rob cycling the 100 mile RideLondon on 31st July 2017.

This great effort is to support BRIGHT, a local charity that funds research and new treatments for gastrointestinal cancers at St Luke's Cancer Centre in Guildford where Lindsey and Tanya both work as dietitians. We have seen firsthand the benefits that the new treatments can bring to our patients so we are keen to raise as much money as possible to help BRIGHT achieve the targets required to further this work.
