Story
The Parenta Trust Rally is one of the fundraising tools that the Parenta Trust use to support their work providing clean water and nursery school provision in Uganda. Since their founding in 2013 five new schools have already been commissioned. Please help them build another one!
Both Pete and Paddy enjoy adventure motorcycle travel and experiencing far-flung parts of the world, but in so-doing have become acutely aware of the struggle and limited opportunities available to the most vulnerable youngsters they encounter, so would like to help the Parenta Trust in their work.
Paddy works in education in the UK and is the editor of Overland Magazine. Pete runs Greaves 4x4, a landrover specialist.
Together they plan to complete the Parenta Trust Rally this June in a very crap old Landrover Disco that was found under a hedge. All parts to make it run have been bodged and there are no plans to spend a penny on it as they try to make it to Monaco on the as-yet-unknown route across 8 countries.
They don't pretend to be wading through leech-filled swamps or carrying elephants over the Himalayas, but do hope that you'll help them raise some funds for what they feel is a worthy cause.
None of your money will support the journey as they will be camping and (probably) eating noodles throughout.
