We fund life changing research to change the future of spinal cord injury

Story

THE CHALLENGE

The Four Oarsmen will put their bodies, minds and souls to the
ultimate test by taking on one of the world's greatest physical challenges,
rowing unaided for 3,000 miles across the unforgiving Atlantic Ocean.

THE CAUSE

The Four Oarsmen aim to help transform the lives of those
effected by Spinal Injury by raising funds towards ongoing ground breaking
research into the treatment of paralysis. Peter Robinson played rugby alongside
Ben Kende who in August 2010 sustained a spinal cord injury and has since
adjusted to life as a Tetraplegic. Read Ben's story here: www.thefouroarsmen.com/why/

Spinal Research is the UK's leading charity funding over 140
research projects around the world. Thanks to such innovative research, paralysis
can now be treated and scientists stand on the brink of applying therapies that
will restore movement and feeling and transform the lives of paralysed people
such as Ben.

The boys are extremely proud to be rowing for Spinal Research.
By giving generously you can help to create a world where spinal cord injury
doesn't necessarily mean a lifetime of paralysis.
