The Hussain Legacy" is the first ever visual exhibition. The exhibition was officially launched on the 1st Muharram 1436 in an effort to inspire the young and old of the great sacrifice and legacy left behind by our Holy Imam Hussain (as).

This year the exhibition is bigger and better, featuring 12 unique stations as opposed to last year where we were only able to feature 7. These stations bring about the events which not only unfolded in Karbala to life, but also a series of events which transpired before the great tragedy that befell on the day of Ashura. These include:

The Lineage
a Visual representation of the family tree of Imam Hussain (as) starting from the first of mankind Adam (as).

The Timeline & Hadiths
A focus on the first fifty years of Imam Hussain's (as).

The Context
The events that took place after Prophet Mohammed's (pbuh) death and how caliphate was decided upon by the people.

The Women of Karbala
The importance of women before, during and after the battle of Karbala.

The Generals
Visual representation of some of the companions of Imam Hussain (as).
Steps to Karbala
Walking in the footsteps of Imam Hussain's (as) journey from Madina to Karbala.
The Battle of Karbala
This station is a sizable model portraying an aerial view of the battle.

The Burning Tents
This station revolves around a replica of a burnt tent from the camp of Imam Hussain (as).

Aftermath (including the events of Kufa, Halab, Sham, the court of Yazid and the prison cells);
This station visually highlights the series of events that took place post Karbala whereby the women, children were taken as prisoners and forced to embark on a journey which saw them witness a great deal of abuse.

The Mausoleum
This station shed's light on the development of Karbala from the year 680AD till this current day.

Art Gallery
A combination of art work from talented artists from across the world.

The Shop
Unique goods for your interest.

Thousands of visitors have since visited the exhibition along with their families and friends from all across the UK. This page has been setup to seek support and donations to cover the costs which have been incurred to bring 'The Hussain Legacy' exhibition to fruition.

If you were one of the visitors who attended the exhibition and felt inspired, we ask you to give back a little so that we may carry on creating exhibitions such as this in the future. If you were not able to visit the exhibition this time round, then we ask you to donate in the memory of Imam Hussain so that his legacy continues to inspire initiatives such as 'The Legacy' in places across the world.
We thank you for your kind contributions and pray that the teachings of Imam Hussain (as) motivate us all to do good in this life and ultimately achieve the intercession of our Holy Ahlulbayt (as) in the hereafter.
