This year the exhibition is bigger and better, featuring 12 unique stations as opposed to last year where we were only able to feature 7. These stations bring about the events which not only unfolded in Karbala to life, but also a series of events which transpired before the great tragedy that befell on the day of Ashura. These include:
a Visual representation of the family tree of Imam Hussain (as) starting from the first of mankind Adam (as).
A focus on the first fifty years of Imam Hussain's (as).
The events that took place after Prophet Mohammed's (pbuh) death and how caliphate was decided upon by the people.
This station is a sizable model portraying an aerial view of the battle.
This station revolves around a replica of a burnt tent from the camp of Imam Hussain (as).
Unique goods for your interest.
If you were one of the visitors who attended the exhibition and felt inspired, we ask you to give back a little so that we may carry on creating exhibitions such as this in the future. If you were not able to visit the exhibition this time round, then we ask you to donate in the memory of Imam Hussain so that his legacy continues to inspire initiatives such as 'The Legacy' in places across the world.
We thank you for your kind contributions and pray that the teachings of Imam Hussain (as) motivate us all to do good in this life and ultimately achieve the intercession of our Holy Ahlulbayt (as) in the hereafter.
