I have set up this page for a great cause for The Love Hearts Appeal, the Jersey charity which is linked to Great Ormond Street Hospital Children's Charity (GOSH). Every donation helps to provide the best facilities and equipment, research and develop new treatments, and support their remarkable patients and their families.

I was inspired by Catherine MacLachlan, who without her life saving transplant would have died. Catherine was 15 when she underwent treatment which is exactly my age range and I put myself in her situation. Then I took a broader aspect and thought of the many children out there who are affected by this illness. 

This is the fourth year that I organise a fun doubles table tennis tournament which is open to all ages and abilities. The last three years were a great success which was fantastic as my intention from the beginning was to organise this event annually so that we can carry on raising funds for the charity that researches and treats heart transplants for the young people out there.  Already some interesting results are being seen and the Appeal now want to help fund a larger project which will hopefully lead to better lives for children following heart transplantation.
