Story
Chailey Heritage Foundation is a pioneering charity supporting children and young people with complex physical disabilities and health needs.
Through its special school, residential facilities, and transition support the charity's aim is to provide a stimulating and inclusive environment for every child and young adult to ensure they reach their full potential. The charity relies on donations to provide the very specialist equipment and facilities these young people need.
This year Chailey Heritage Foundation has launched The D.R.E.A.M. Centre Appeal to raise £2,600,000 to build a modern and vibrant indoor activity space where children and young people with complex disabilities and health needs can participate in a mixture of arts and physical activities - we would like your support/donations to go towards this appeal and very exciting facility. More information can be found here http://www.thedreamcentreappeal.org.uk/
Last year your amazing donations raised a total of £1050! Please help us to beat that this year.
A little bit about the challenge we are taking part in
The Moyleman isn't just any old marathon . . . The Moyleman is a challenging South Downs run, around the beautiful and demanding hills that surround the town of Lewes. Starting from Landport Bottom on the western end of Lewes, the run takes in the peaks of Black Cap, Castle Hill, Firle Beacon, and Mt Caburn. With over 3,000 feet of climb, and some steep descents, this is a hard run for relatively experienced runners. Last year Rob and Simon ran the full marathon length and Vish did the half marathon relay. This meant that Vish only received a half pint memento glass at the end of the race so this year Vish has decided to aim for the full pint glass!
Thank you so much for your support
Wish us luck!
