I have had the privilege of working for St Wilfrids Hospice for 14yrs, I will be retiring in November and to celebrate my retirement I am taking part in Trek Sahara for  St Wilfrids Hospice next November.

 I will be trekking for 4 days, 2 full and 2 half days  across ancient dried up river beds, sand dunes and vast sun-baked plains. The temperature will be between 30-40c  going down to 0c at night where we will be sleeping in tents under the glorious stars.

I am fortunate to work alongside some amazing people who are extremely dedicated and compassionate giving exceptional care.

I am challenging myself to take part in this event in order to continue to support the amazing work that St Wilfrids do.
