Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. All done now 2nd time around The Snowdon crawl . Ben Nevis next year and 98% I'm going to take on the 3 peak challenge it will be Ben Nevis. Snowdon . And scafell pike . On hands and knees Thanks again .
In memory of my mom Mary Bernadette Carruthers (13 Feb 1954 to 27 July 2016) and friend ioan Roberts 10/4/1961 to 21/12/16 whom both sadly past away in St Mary's hospice, Selly oak. Bless them.
Well, where do i start, this will be my 2nd time around and far from easy for mind, body and the soul, but alot of fun ! First done completed in 2016!
So on the 27th, 28th and 29th of October i'm going to crawl on my hands and knees again up Mount SNOWDON, the llanberis path.Mount Snowdon can have snow on it all year round and is always very cold in October .
This is in support of St Mary's Hospice in Selly oak who do an amazing job for all their residents.
I'm going to try and raise as much money as i can as I know first hand what these people do for the ill and it's mind blowing, amazing people they really are.
I Know it will take me a few days to do this to get to the top so i have a support team, my friends Paddy Ryan and Ryan Bird at the moment!
Its not goin to be eazy and people die evey year up there. The path I'll be taking is the lianberis path. There are 6 paths but this one should be most safe, and longest and if the clouds come in and they can, very fast, its not safe at all.
Please remember why I'm doing this, and the support team !!! thanks to St Marys Hospice for all the care and love they give on a daily basis. When i say this is for St Marys and it will help the ill, it will. As some of the residents are very very ill.
I'm glad i can give some think back for what they did for my mom and my family. Sincerely kind and caring staff and they will always need our help.
Well, please give! However much you can, it all counts and please feel free to share this post as the support is much appreciated. Lets get this out there so people can start giving. Only 2 people have ever completed a crawl up mount Snowdon and I'm one of them. No one has ever done it twice so I'm hoping people will give a little bit more.
Thanks for reading this post and if my hands and knees hold out i will be waving from the top, hopefully standing up on two feet.
I'll be crawling over 5 miles in distance and reaching 1085 meters up from sea level up, Give or take. I Can't wait!
