Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Our challenge is to persuade as many people as we can to sponsor our monumental effort to ride in one day 84 miles from North Cambridge to a little known place in North Norfolk called Langham. We will be risking life, limb, wind and rain in our dogged determination to keep cycling, no matter what. And all to help the people of the Waterberg. More specifically, we are raising funds for The Waterberg Trust (TWT) that builds the people of the Waterberg, a disadvantaged area in South Africa that is two hours drive north of Johannesburg. Supporting Community Projects, Education and Health Initiatives are just a few of the ways that TWT helps the people of the Waterberg to help themselves. Specific examples include nurse training, after school support, and English language teaching so that children can thrive in senior schools. In such small but critical ways, TWT is busy making massive differences to many lives. But it can only do so with our help. Helping the ecology of the region is also critical to the welfare of the people because it brings visitors. To this end, this ride will also help to save the Waterberg Rhino from poachers.
