I can't take on a challenge to inspire support and donations so I'm simply saving pennies and pounds wherever I can to donate to IiMER. If you're reading this maybe you'll consider joining me, or donating a little to this page - it would mean a lot.

It is vital that UK charity Invest in ME Research are supported and get the funds necessary to progress their biomedical research strategy and Centre of Excellence for ME. No matter where in the world the first treatment for ME is found it will need to be trialled in the UK in order for it to be made available (through the NHS). Great progress has already been made with foundation research projects, new young researchers joining the field, and the kind of collaboration that should surely yield results. But we can't think things will just now happen - we have to continue to push to make them happen.

Why £350? Because on my birthday (in august) I'll be half way to seventy!
