As a child of refugees, I will never forget the support and kindness others had shown me and my family when we were struggling to find our footing in our adopted country. It is these memories that drive me to want to help those who may need help during a difficult time in their lives. In my own way, I want to show my appreciation by "paying it forward", as the saying goes, and by supporting KCAH, I am able to support a grassroots, locally-based charity that helps the community I live in.
