Story

Thanks to everyone that's donated to our Fundraiser. We raised nearly £5000 on our Charity night. We are hoping to hit £5000 by donations. Please read Thomas's story below.

Thomas was born at 27weeks and 4 days and was the size of a 25 week old baby. His growth in the wombhad slowed down due to his mother developing pre-eclampsia. He wasdelivered on the 12th February 2015 by emergency caesarean section atBarnsley hospital weighing 1lb 11oz and was extremely sick. After 3 days due tohaving difficulty with ventilation, heart failure, bleed on his brain and underdeveloped lungs he was rushed to Hull women & children's hospital for4 weeks with his parents living in the hospital with him. He was returned backto Barnsley after this and continued to progress. Thomas is making remarkableprogress and is now 7 months old and weighs 16lb 4oz  and is makingremarkable progress. We cannot thank Barnsley Neo-natal unit enough for savingThomas's life and their hard work.

Please take 5 minutes of your time towatch the video of Thomas's First few months in hospital.
