This winter, Tikva UK is hoping to raise enough funds to enable for every child in our homes and schools in Odessa, Ukraine to receive a new pair of winter boots.



Tikva’s core mission is to care for the homeless, abandoned, neglected and abused Jewish children of Ukraine and neighbouring regions of the former Soviet Union. Tikva provides a warm, compassionate home, essential social services and a quality education, while revitalising the growing Jewish community of Odessa. 

Our target is to be able to purchase 1000 pairs of boots - one for each child currently in our homes and schools. Please help us achieve our goal of raising £20,000 in time for Chanukah.


This winter, temperatures in Odessa will drop to -4C (below freezing). While a £20 donation might be just another pair of boots to you, to these children, winter boots are a necessity to braving the bitterly cold air day and night.
