Story

This is a great local charity that helps people to cope with adversity and put their lives back together.  I've fairly regularly looked into the abyss, but haven't come so close that I've fallen in.  I'm keen to help those that have not been so lucky.

It turns out, the rest of the team are mostly either young, keen or fit, and sometimes all three.  As I've got to get to Belgium at their pace rather than mine, I'm borrowing a pizza bike from work which is 'pedal assist'.  As long as I pedal, it will assist.  Until the battery runs out.  Which will be long before the end unless I work hard along the way.

So, please give generously.  As I'll only be putting in about 4/5ths of the work of the rest, I'll contribute 25p per £1 that everyone donates via my page (up to the target of £500 ... but don't let that dissuade you if we exceed that!).

About the charity

The Hope Centre provides support to Northampton people who find themselves living in hardship. Whether that hardship means they cannot afford to feed themselves or whether it has resulted in them living on the streets Hope is there to help, providing support, training & access to low cost food.
