Story
following two separate farm accidents I was in need of the help of the air ambulance .Both occasions I ended up in a hospital to be stuck back together. Like so many people who live and work in isolated rural areas we are vunerable and sadly at times in need of urgent medical help. Air ambulance relies almost totally on voluntary donation to provide funding. Two school mates from the 70s that live on the beautiful south island new Zealand and myself intend to complete a fairly challenging 35 mile walk through the mountains between Glenorchy and milford sound. The Southern Alps will be a big test especially for my rather wonky and battered right leg ,following a losing battle with the farm JCB. We hope you can encourage us to finish the walk with some kind donations ,thank you. Tim Brooke
