Myself and Alex Haley set ourselves a challenge this year of doing the GNR and chose two completely different (but fantastic) charities to run for. 

I have chosen the guidedogs for the blind.

As a dog lover, and as a physiotherapist , I have seen the positive effect that a guide dog can have on peoples lives. The dogs are unbelievably clever, and they allow people to have a level of independence that would otherwise not be available. 

I would love to raise as much money for this charity as possible, to allow more and more people to have a poochy friend to increase their quality of life!
