Deca Challenge for Children
Fundraising for Right To Play UK
Story
On 3rd June 2011 I will be attempting to complete 10 Ironman distance triathlons in 10 days - a Deca Ironman. This means a 3.8km swim followed by a 180km bike ride and then a marathon to finish. Every day for 10 days..!!!

As I pursue my sporting ambitions and develop as both a coach and athlete I would like those less fortunate than myself to benefit in some way from my efforts. I have achieved so much through sport over recent years and believe play is the basic right of every child. This is why I have chosen to support Right to Play (http://www.righttoplay.com/uk/Pages/Home.aspx). A charity working in 20 countries across Africa, Asia, the Middle East and South America that implements programs designed to develop basic life skills, prevent diseases, teach conflict resolution and instill hope in children affected by war, poverty and disease.
