We provide a helpline, and webchat service to help prevent suicide in the UK

Story

I'm running the Brighton Marathon on April 19th for the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM). I've been working at CALM since October and can't overstate the amazing work they do in de-stigmatising the subject of suicide. The number of suicides in the UK has been increasing over the last few years and CALM has played a vital role in suicide prevention, with its helpline offering a safe space for anyone and everyone to talk through any difficulties or mental health problems they're experiencing. Everyday I'm astounded by the fantastic work being done there in changing the public conversation around suicide and saving lives, and this is why I'm running for CALM.

Please donate anything you can to support CALM in continuing their free helpline and webchat and in leading a movement against suicide. if still need some convincing. here's a list of your donations will contribute towards:

£8 enables CALM to answer one potentially lifesaving call

£24 provides support materials to 4 families who have lost someone to suicide

£109 equips a volunteer with vital training and support to spread the CALM message across the UK reaching more people

£440 trains and equips a professional helpline worker to speak to people in crisis
