Story

In 2020 I'm running the London Marathon on behalf of the St James Place Charitable Foundation in aid of the Stroke Association in loving memory of my Nan who sadly passed away 3 years ago.

In 1998 my Nanny Pam unfortunately suffered a stroke that took her speech and the use of the right side of her body. She was able to get around with the use of a stick but mainly relied on a wheelchair. Her speech did return but it was very limited. In 2015 she had an accident which put her in hospital and sadly passed away a week later. She is still sorely missed to this day and hopefully i'll make her proud by doing this once in a lifetime event.

The Stroke Association are the UK's leading charity dedicated to conquering stroke. They rely on our support to change the lives of people affected by stroke and reduce the number of people who are struck by this devastating condition. For more info please visit www.stroke.org.uk

All money raised will be matched by my workplace charity. The St James’s Place Charitable Foundation have very kindly agreed to fully match my fundraising and give the full amount to The Stroke Association! For more details on the SJP Charitable Foundation please visit www.sjpfoundation.co.uk

Please give what you can!

Thank you!
