I’m thrilled to be part of the 2019 Amgen UK and Ireland team, having
supported last year’s riders with fundraising and sharing their experience of
the 500km ride.

The unique opportunity to raise money for this very worthy cause, alongside other Amgen teams, people from other companies, patients, and their families, is a brilliant way to help Myeloma UK, and I’m looking forward to testing my fitness in a different way to what I’m used to.

As somebody who is new to the world of road cycling, I’m hoping the many hours I’ve spent in the spin studio will help to make up for a lack of experience – especially when tackling some of the tougher hills I’ve heard previous teams talk about!
