Story

Thanks for visiting my page.

Even though I am doing this to raise money for BCLP's Charity of the Year, London's Air Ambulance, I have my own personal connection to this cause. On 16 July 2016, I was airlifted to Royal London Hospital by the Air Ambulance, following a serious cycling accident near Maidstone. As an emergency service that receives no funding and is critical for survivors like me, I want to raise awareness and money for the Air Ambulance and give back to those that helped save my live.

As a result, on Thursday 12 September, I will be doing a freefall abseil, 17 floors up, from the helipad at Royal London Hospital. I've never done this before, so I'm particularly nervous, given that I don't even remember the journey in by helicopter, let alone how high 17 floors is!

Please give as much or as little as you can to save those like me who need the rapid, critical professionalism of London's Air Ambulance.

About the charity

London’s Air Ambulance is the charity that delivers advanced pre-hospital care to critically injured people in London. Your donation will help us save more lives by keeping our helicopter in the air and our rapid response cars on the road, ready for when they are needed most.
