It’s unacceptable that more than half of people diagnosed with pancreatic cancer die within 3 months. Survival rates have improved enormously for most cancers, yet for pancreatic cancer, this is not the case. 

I have seen the effects of Pancreatic Cancer and how quickly it can develop due to seeing relatives suffer first-hand (my Grandad and Great-Grandad). Any symptoms that become visible signify that the disease is too developed to cure and therefore a process to try and maintain a good quality of life for as long as possible is all that can be done.
