Everybody knows of someone that has been touched by cancer. It is a hugely traumatic experience both physically and mentally for the individual that has been diagnosed and a very difficult time for those close to that individual.

Maggies offers fantastic support for cancer patients during treatment and recovering from treatment. Maggies also go a step further by offering support to friends and family members too.

As part of my work with Maggies delivering weekly exercise classes I have seen first hand the great work they do and the value that those dealing with cancer have placed on the centre and its services.

I would like to see Maggies reach more people that need their services and so I have set myself this fund raising challenge as my first fund raising project for the centre.
