Hello and welcome to my fundraising page,

I'm doing Dry January for friends who are battling with addiction and also for those who have lost their lives due to their battle with alcohol.

I also hope that this will improve my health and help reduce some of the symptoms of my chronic health conditions.

I'm no saint and have indulged heavily in the past and then again during recent months consuming higher than recommended alcohol units. At one point bordering on alcoholism and definitely dependency..

By the end of January I may find that I feel so much better having made these lifestyle changes that I continue forward on this path, I hope so but am taking it a day at a time.
