Story

World Rally Championship driver Matthew Wilson and co-driver Scott Martin are no strangers to the twisty roads of the picturesque island of Corsica, however their next visit there will be somewhat different to what they have experienced in the past.

Instead of powering round the island's routes in a 4wd Ford Focus RS World Rally Car, they will be using sheer muscle power as they take to the 1000km route on Trek road bikes!  The pair plan to start their journey on the 7th June in a bid to raise money for charity and expect to complete the course within one week.

The idea came about when a friend of Matthew's, Rick Parfit Jnr (son of the legendary Rick Parfitt of Status Quo) recently set up a charity to raise funds for the Crohns Foundation after being a long time suffer himself.  Since attending a charity Rock Ball earlier this year, Matthew and Scott decided they wanted to do something to help with the fundraising and this is what they came up with.
