Despite having NEVER run in my life I am doing the London Marathon April 2018 (noticed I never say 'running the London marathon') LOL.....

I felt like getting near the BIG 50 next year (October 2018) I needed to get my big backside off the sofa and do something meaningful so I started running.... little did I know back in May (when I was encouraged to enter) that I would actually get a place (there is only a 1 in 20 chance) but I did!!!!

I am currently on week 5 of training (well I will be next week when I get over this virus I have!!)

It's the most difficult thing I have ever done as my body is not built for endurance sports but I'm tentacious till the end and I'm determined to complete it somehow!!!

The charity I am supporting is You Can which is a Youth Cancer Support Group who help young people between 10-30 and their families affected by the dreaded C word with well being treatments and weekend holiday cottage respite. They are also based in the village that I live and I wanted to support a local charity so it makes perfect sense. Please donate what you feel you can, every donation however big or small makes a huge difference to a small charity. Thank you all so much <3 <3 <3
